With the upcoming planned retirement of our Executive Director, the Board of Directors is seeking a passionate community leader to further the work in achieving our vision of ensuring everyone in Regina has safe, nutritious, culturally acceptable, and affordable food and can obtain it through non-emergency sources.
REACH serves as an umbrella association for a wide range of healthy food programs which are delivered through almost 200 organizations and schools. We serve thousands of children and families each year through programs like the Good Food Box and child nutrition programs.
The Executive Director (ED) will model the values of the organization and pursue the vision of REACH under the guidance of the Board of Directors. Exhibiting passion and commitment, the ED will set strategic direction and proactively plan, direct and coordinate operational activities. They build, nurture and enhance a network with other leaders in a variety of organizations including Indigenous groups, focused on common clients and issues.
REACH is committed to an inclusive workplace that reflects the richness of the community that we serve. REACH welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, including individuals within employment equity categories of women, persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, Indigenous persons, individuals of diverse gender and sexual orientation and all groups protected by the Human Rights Code. In order to alleviate the under-representation of these individuals within REACH, preference in hiring will be given to those who self-identify as Indigenous persons in the application process.
