Invitation to National Town Halls on Youth Employment Sector Recovery Post-Covid

As a member of the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity (CCYP), on behalf of Work Prep, and the CCYP, I would like to invite you to attend the CCYP’s upcoming town halls. Saskatchewan is a vast and diverse province, and it is important to capture the perspectives and realities of organizations across our province who are working with youth to support them in their employment goals.
From June 15-19, the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity (CCYP) is hosting a series of regional town halls. These sessions are designed to engage with youth employment service providers about Canada’s post-pandemic recovery. Work Prep is a proud partner on this initiative and we invite you to attend a session and add your voice to this important discussion.
Recovery efforts of small to medium size businesses and job seekers will rely heavily on the services of local youth employment service providers.
In these sessions, we will explore and address:
  • What the youth employment sector needs to ensure we have the capacity to shape and support recovery efforts
  • How the youth employment sector will or should change service provision in response to the new labour market?
  • How the role of front-line practitioners will or should evolve as a result?
Your voice is important for the recovery of our sector. Please share this invitation with your networks and we hope to see you at the town halls.
