Work Prep is thrilled to announce the receipt of $15,000 from the Lorne and Evelyn Johnson Foundation. The Lorne and Evelyn Johnson Foundation, a private foundation serving the people of South Saskatchewan was established by the late Lorne and Evelyn Johnson to respond to the changing need and opportunities of the community and provides grants to eligible charitable organizations in culture, health, education, environment, recreation and social service sectors.
This money will be used to upgrade our computer technology in the Lorne and Evelyn Johnson Foundation Computer Resource Centre and Computer Classroom. These upgrades will support Work Prep to continue serving job seekers on their journey to employment by providing access to new and efficient technology to support their job search and learning and development activities that will support their employment goals. As Work Prep expands our programs to continue adding innovative service delivery, assessment and learning tools through an e-learning and online format, we rely on the use of efficient and up to date technology to ensure success in our program delivery. These tools will successfully support job seekers to development skills and knowledge that will support future employment opportunities.
