Virtual Reality

Program Overview

Ever wonder what it's actually like to be an Electrician?

A Continuing Care Aide?  A Carpenter?

Now you can find out, without quitting a job, dropping out of school, or wasting a single year figuring it out the hard way.

That's what the Virtual Reality (VR) Work Preparation program is here for.

Put on the headset. The room disappears. Suddenly you're on a job site, in an ER, in a studio, standing right in the middle of a career you're curious about. You see it. You hear it. You feel it. All from a chair in the Career Practitioner's office.

No pressure to decide anything. No cost to explore everything. Just a real, honest look at what a job is actually like before you build your whole future around it.

Found something that clicks? That's where Bodyswaps comes in. It's a soft skills training platform that drops you into real workplace situations, hard conversations, tricky problems, real interviews, so you can practice until it feels natural. Alone or with a group, it's one of the most-used tools in the program, and our Employability module is the top pick for anyone getting ready for the real thing.

The future of career exploration just got real, virtually.

Team Success Story

From Pilot to Possibility: VR Hub Goes to School

In partnership with RDIEC and MyBlueprint, we piloted bringing the VR Hub into school-based career exploration, and the results spoke for themselves: students were more engaged, more curious, and more invested in planning their futures.

The success sparked something bigger. We're now in ongoing discussions with MyBlueprint to explore rolling this out across school divisions all over Canada. One pilot project. A future full of possibility.
